Inspired to lift a little, need advise.

I have a 1991 Chevrolet S10 pickup 2WD with the 2.5L I4/5 speed manual, and I would like to lift my truck like 2 or 3 inches. I know I can get a block kit for the back for like 25 bucks, but is there a cheap way that I can lift the front? I heard of these rubber things to put on the bottom of the springs, but I haven't a clue of the details/price. Let me know, on sort of a budget here.
