air cleaner test resualtswhoamioitsme 02-18-2005, 09:39 AM this might be an interesting to some hear it is an independent test done on air filters and you will be shocked with the outcome of it . The test was done on diesel truck airfilters but the resualts would be the same just a diferant size of filter check it out http://home.usadatanet.net/~jbplock/ISO5011/SPICER.htm hope it shines new light on things for someone eles as well fredjacksonsan 02-18-2005, 11:32 AM Very interesting. I was surprised that K&N did so poorly. Have you seen any other tests? BleedDodge 02-18-2005, 03:55 PM Why were you surprised when K&N did so poorly? It's just a name. You can probably go to a boneyard and pull a filter out of a truck that's been sitting for ten years and it will move air better. I will try to find it again but from what I read i will only be buying AC delco filters ! just incase i cant find the link again Suprteck 02-21-2005, 10:03 PM Ok I came in late, and the link doesnt work for me either. Can someone who saw the data fill the rest of us in.? How did the Dodge Ram Hemi OEM filter do? And I guess from the post by whoamioitsme that the delco was best??... Ive read a lot of data on oil samples using the the K&N and Toyota TRD air filters when I had a Tundra and the oil tests were horrible compared to OEM. Ill Stick with stock but am curious about Dodge OEM and AC Delco..?? whoamioitsme 02-22-2005, 12:46 PM sorry every 1 i looked for the info that was in the link but didn't save it to my pc (my bad) but it was only a test on air cleaners and how much air they let thru as well as dirt and how long they would last befor cleaning or replacing delco seemed to be the best in every catagory the info was found on a dodge desiel site can't rember where i found it tho did a goggle search an that is how i came acrossed it in the first place . 1 again sorry it dosn't work anymore vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
