If your pressure is ok, don't worry about it. Mine has done this since around 80,000km's and I have 170,000km's on it now. These model years are quirky for the oil light. If you check your manual, you will even see that it states the oil light can flicker from time to time while driving. They deem it normal, although it has been determined it is a bad solder point in the instrument cluster. As far as the problem you mention, I find mine stays on for about 30 seconds, is worse when cold, and always goes off right away after a fresh oil change, which would leave me to believe it has something to do with an oil sensor. It also shuts off quicker if I cycle the key first and then start the car.

Yeah, I agree, as long as oil level and oil pressure is to speed, it the sensor
