Anyone know where to locate the resistor block for a 1999 Intrepid. From what I can find, this could be the reason my wife's fan is stuck on high.
Thanks,
Ron

underneath your dash on the passenger side, you'll see a bubble-like housing (that's the blower motor) next to that housing is some electrical connectors; that's where the blower motor resistor is located. Make sure you disconnect the battery when you do b/c that resistor block is hot all the time and when you take it out, it could ignite your carpet on fire.

Hey, thanks a bunch...I took a look under the hood and didn't find much to get excited about, but looking under the glove compartment I saw what I thought was the beast.
It will take some contortion, but I think I can manage getting the bugger out and replaced. Thanks for the advice about the battery...I wouldn't want to ignite the carpet or myself. I'll let you know how things work out.

Found it and got it replaced...it was a chore to get to, but replacing the resistor fixed the problem.
Thanks for your help.
