Ok new longer shocks are now in order after installing the 3" AC leaf pack. Since they are in order I have been thinking.

I currently have the 3" AC suspension, with the 3" replacement spring pack, and installed the Calmini rear bumpstop lowering brakets. Since I have to order new longer shocks I thought about ordering Revolvers and the AC 2" body lift hoping that would be enough room to clear my current 32x11.50 BFG KM's and later another set of 32x11.50 SSR's.

My question is, with everything installed above being the 3" suspension lift, 3" spring pack, longer shocks (when ordered), the bump stop lowering backets, revolvers (when ordered) and the 2" body lift (when ordered) would there be enough room in the wheel wells for the tires to flex/stuff or would I have nothing more than a recipe for disaster?

I currently have 15x8" rockcrawlers with a 3.75 backspacing as well. I have seen the AC X do fine with the 3+3 and 33's on the same backspacing work well with the revolvers. But with only the 3+2 and 32's could it work?

Any comments would be welcome and thanks in advance.

Not sure, but I think it'd be fine. As you pointed out, Nissan Mike has 6" of total lift and is running 33's. Looks like with 5" you'd be fine with 32s. Having owned a set, I'm sure you know how large the SSRs are for a 32 though, so that might be a different story.

On a side note, if you decide to go with a body lift, I have a 2" B.L. for sale. Bought it straight from AC and it's never been out of the box. If you're interested let me know.

I am curious why you chose the 3.75" backspaced RockCrawlers when 4.75" are available? I am running 16X8 ARs with a 4.5" back space on mine with a 3" suspension lift and still had to do some fender trimming to make them stuff. A body lift will alleviate a large portion of it, but the possibility is that had you used a deeper backspace you probably wouldn't have to worry about it as much. In fact, as my truck has proven, you can still get a reasonable size tire on with just a suspension lift. And the worse thing about the whole deal is that by going to all that work fitting high 32s or 33s on your X, you still only have a 1/2" of extra ground clearance at the low point. Is a 1/2" really worth that much work and expense? I would change to a deeper backspace rim, do some fender modifications and call it even.

Spend the money on lockers or T-case gears, it will get you farther. If you switch to stock wheels your 32X11.50's will fit much better than they do now, and will help save your steering.

The reason for the 3.75" backspacing was simply because that is what AC reccomended with the revolvers. If you look on there site it tells ya.
Yes I might only gain a 1/2 inch at the low point for around $320 being the cost of the body lift and revolvers, but I will also gain a large amount of flex in the rear. More wheel well room meaning I can run the front disconnected, and a taller stance.

Lockers, and T-Case gears void the hell out of your warrenty! I only have 14k on my X and I have the extended 100k warrenty. Currently the Nissan dealership in SA has no problem with the lift added and larger tires and said it wont cause warrenty issues. I had them clear it all before I installed everything.

Are they going to cover the steering components that long?
