engine problemss13dr1fter 02-16-2005, 06:01 PM i have a ka24de. when the car is cold the engine has major hesitation. And when i go past 4500 the rpm's barely climb and it feels like the car is gonna blow and it won't go past 5500. Does anyone know what the problem is? logik23 02-16-2005, 06:45 PM Maybe the oil hasn't thined out enough and hasn't spred enough through the engine, you shouldn't push the car when it's not warmed up. s13dr1fter 02-16-2005, 06:55 PM no i don't push it when it cold it even hesitate around 2500. But when the engine is warm it still won't let me go past 5500 AWDSR20 02-16-2005, 07:38 PM what d u mean... the fuel cuts off? dz the rpm bounce at 5000rpm? or just stops at 5000 rpm? sounds like ur motor is just dying.. get a new one! monooxide 02-16-2005, 11:08 PM I would get that crap checked out... Maybe youre trannys going out because on an auto i know for sure once the tranny is toasted it starts to hesitate and maxes out pretty easy s13dr1fter 02-16-2005, 11:28 PM hmmmm i just bought this motor too. Well me and some friends are gonna check the timing this weekend but damn if i have to get a new motor that sucks. nissanfanatic 02-17-2005, 02:10 AM Sounds like timing. www.ka-t.org/tech vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
