My turn signal's will not work. I've changed the fuse and the rear bulbs which appeared to have been blown, however they are still not working. Could this be a relay switch or a short?????

I'm curious - do the emergency flashers work at the rear?

There are two bi-metal flasher cans on the '95, one for turn-signal, one for emergency flasher. I'd eliminate that possibility first. If the emergency flashers work then you know you have good bulbs and good wiring to the rear signal lamps.

Let us know what you find.

Hi ugsrich,
Yes my emergency flashers do work so that definitely eliminates the bulbs or wiring.
Can you please tell me where the bi-metal flasher cans are located for the turn signal so that I can have that checked.

Thanks so much!
Ginny

They are located above the "bolster". That is, basically above the brake/accelerator pedals. They are sort of mounted/clipped to the steering column as I recall (or thereabout). They are approximatelly 1" in diameter and about 7/8" tall with and electrical connecter at the base of the cylinder.

There is a a plastic panel that must be removed to gain access to the area. If you lay on your back on the floor and look up you'll see the black plastic panel held on by two bolts (as I recall). This panel acts as both sound insulation as well as part of the HVAC duct system. Anyway, remove it and you will have access to flasher-cans.

Then run your emergency flashers and you'll discover, through your auditory sense, which can controls them. The other one controls the turn signal.

Good luck. I hope that's the problem!

Hi ugsrich,
Thank you very much for all those details.
I'll definitely get that checked on this weekend.

Thanks again,
Ginny
