Search this forum for discussion. erichz 02-19-2005, 02:34 AM i've found that my 2000 4cly does it also in 5th gear especially. Yeah, you have to have a perfect shift, real slow and steady, but who does that? Maybe i'll just grease the splines and everything, but i'm not gonna worry about it. I just put a new tranny in a jeep wrangler with 117000 on it, the old one was completelywrecked, gears were gone.
