99 S-10 Power loss

I just bought a 99 S-10 4.3 V6 extended cab stepside for 5800 dollars. But it needed a little work, it had a large loss of power and come to find out it had a clogged fuel filter. The dealership put in a new filter for me and the truck is still lacking power. Do you think it could have ruined the pump? I put new plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor button, so theyre good. Also I checked the throttle position sensor because it seemed to have power loss at certain throttle points, although it has some power at full throttle. The TPS is ok. It feels like you have 100hp at 2k,then it jumps to 120hp at 3k and so on. If you are a Chevy tech let me know what you think. Thanks

its a 4.3 V6 and it has no current engine codes, thats why I think its the fuel pump.

Clean your MAF sensor with tb cleaner.

Gently massage the gunk off of the two sensor wires and spray it down with the cleaner and allow it to dry , then reinstall.

Then reset you computer for 5 minutes by pulling the negative battery cable and see if it helps.

BTW, what plugs did you use? Did you gap them properly?

Thanks for all the recommendations all. I took to the dealership and they checked the fuel pump it put out 62psi so its good enough it should be around 60-68 I think he said. The mechanic thought it might be the EGR so when i get another $150 I'm gonna replace. I'll keep posted.

You don't have to replace the EGR, just remove, clean and reinstall.

Dealers love to replace them instead of doing the proper thing and just cleaning them.

Clean it for free with TB cleaner and reinstall it with a new gasket and save yourself some money.
