If you know how, and someone asks, feel free to explain. There has been a change in the stance of the AF Management, and it has been deemed acceptable to discuss it.

This new rule is fine and all... but i still reserve the right to not tell you! With a comment like the one you posted, i can almost gurantee that no one else will. I don't need crazy ass idioct KIDS like YOU on the streets with an oppertunity to crash into my car. If this is going to start, Let this be the only thread its allowed to possibly be disscused in. Like i said before in the locked threads. You provided me with photo proof that you have upgraded your suspension/ breaking and other saftey aspects and a time slip showing me you run 108Mph in the 1/4 mile i will happily disscuss it with you. But the only way that you are that quick it if your running a boosted application and have upgraded internals and the whole nine yards. Thus you should have a great knowledge of your motor and should be able to figure out or came across on how to do it already and shouldn't be having to ask others on how to do....

Thanks for the replys. just for the record i dont think that anyone should ask how to remove the speed limiter and i agree that if anyone wants to know they need to learn more about their car.. speed limiter runs systematic with the transmission, spedometer registers from the transmission, thats where the key to removeing the speed limiter lies.. just so you know i do know how to remove it. there is actually three ways!! computer chip expensive.. computer altercation cheap if you know what to cut, and transmission altercation without saying to much... anything said here will not rest on my shoulder if a stupid kid removes his/her speed limiter and kills someone or there selves... kinda quick to judge dont you think hed honchos.... get over yourselves...

You seem to have missed out the easiest thing ever to remove this!! The computer chip wouldn't work. As there aren't any for a cav that allow changing the limiter although a flash can. The trans thing you mentioned seemed like yoiu meant take the trans out and play with something inside!

Yea... If you claim one of those speed chips will work to disenguage the speed limiter, your a moron and probably don't know how to do it. You got 1/3 of what you said right. Quit trying to suck up, grow up and shut the f**k up. Enough said here....

I dunno personally i think he should go buy one of those chips (resistors) on ebay, that'll solve his problem. actually he should buy like 15 and surely that'll boost his horsepower by 100 or so. Actually why doesn't he take the head off and shit in the block i heard the methane will confuse a speed limiter, and add horsepower.
