I am looking at purchasing a 94 Dodge Shadow ES. The only major problem i can see is that the BRAKE LIGHTS are always on. Even with the eginition turned off. i have never messed with a car of this type. So i went for the brake light switch. Found the harness was slightly burned and bubbled. BUT intact as is the wiring. I bought a new brake light switch from the local Dodge dealership and figured that would be it. i pop it in and the lights STILL stay on. IF i press the switch IN the lights go out. it does this on both switches..

there should be some kind of ajustment on the switch like it may screw in not real sure unless i go out and check but its pretty dark. ok it has a retaner on it if you push it in it will lock into place. well it should anyway.
