Or drive down Sat. and hook up with him FlossinPrimera 06-30-2001, 02:23 AM I have had a similar experience with my 94 also (manual Trans). It usually occurs until the engine engine is warmed up then goes away. It could be the temp sensor. GOKOOL 06-30-2001, 02:50 PM the problem may be a vacume leak somewhere, or maybe the idle sensor under the throttle body is dirty or loose......for sure its gotta be a vacume leak somewhere.....check it out GtRider 10-24-2001, 12:36 AM hey drockg20 did you ever find out what was causing your engine to stall P10DET 10-24-2001, 01:16 AM I also vote for the vacuum leak. When I installed the built NA engine in my SE-R it did some wild hunting for idle. It was a huge vacuum leak. What happens in that case is the ECU is reading sensors that give it conflicting information so it searches for a smooth idle and of course, never finds one. pearl-p10 10-24-2001, 11:10 AM Try unplugging/replugging your mass airflow sensor. Then give your egr hose a couple of good wacks. My car does this like once a year and this seems to fix the problem. It may be worth a try before you shell out a couple of hundred bucks. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
