Good mechanics in Santa Monica/LA???100%efficiency? 02-14-2005, 05:48 PM Hi guys. I have a MR2 (1991 Turbo). It needs a mechanic to do some work on it cux I don't have a garage: 1. It runs fine but I believe the speedo is bad. 2. Also it has been a while since the last tune-up 5000 miles ago. I want to have a check of the engine/drivetrains. 3. Maybe I'll install a navigation system. I wonder if there's any good/reliable place to go for a MR2 check/tune up, but without worrying they will overcharge/screw me over. I'm in Marina Del Rey, close to LA/culver city/Santa Monica, any recommendations? Thanks in advance. Edited: location detail JekylandHyde 02-15-2005, 03:59 PM I have never been to California so I have no idea how close they are, but I highly recommend www.chicoraceworks.com They are in Chico, CA. 100%efficiency? 02-15-2005, 04:21 PM Cool. I'll definitely check it out. Thanks.
