We are organizing a group buy on JIC-Magic SF-1

They usually retail from $1250 to 1400. The
group buy price will be a fixed price of $1085

That wasnt me hehe...

Well those Tein NA's are just shocks and lowering springs, not coilovers.

I believe the thumbs up for the JIC was in regards to the setup being shorter than stock, which results in increased suspension travel, even though you are lower. Not to mention you get pillow ball upper mounts, and the whole setup is beefier..

I have those same Tein NA's on my car now, but I want a real coilover setup now. Tein doesnt make any of their good stuff for G20/Primeras.

Brian, why don't you have these on your car? I'm just wondering. Also do these have the rust problems like Teins HA or SS, I can't remember which it is right now. Also how do they compare to the spoon and mugen coilovers?

I'm one of the guys buying a set, so they'll be on my car soon...

I really cant compare with the Spoon or Mugen setups, as I'm not very qualified on Honda setups. I'm a Nissan guy, and noticed they have Honda applications too, so I posted here in case anyone is interested in saving $300 on this setup.

I can tell you though that JIC and Tein are head to head competitors in Japan and their products (as well as Spoon, Mugen, etc) are used heavily on the Japanese touring car circuits.

JIC manufactures top quality products. Much higher quality than any US offerings. So I would put them in the same bracket as the other setups you mentioned...
