Can I pull A uhaul with my car? Clyde96 02-13-2005, 03:09 AM
Moving Half way across Canada.I have a 1995 grand am V6 can I (Should I) pull a uhaul trailer with my car, looking at getting the 4 by 8 or the 5 by 8 http://www.uhaul.com/guide/?equipment=trailer5x8 http://www.uhaul.com/guide/?equipment=trailer4x8 FormulaLT1 02-13-2005, 04:47 AM Really depends on how much you plan to fill it up and how it attaches to the vehicle but I wouldn't do it on my car. I would suggest renting one of ther trucks. not worth the risk or even renting a truck from hertz or alamo with unlimited mileage to pull it with plus they have other drop off locations so you probably wouldn't even have to drop it off at the same location. Good Luck. John GMMerlin 02-13-2005, 07:55 AM I wouldn't recommend it...rent a truck gtmud 02-13-2005, 08:15 AM What ever you do DON'T RENT ANY TRUCKS FROM UHAUL! Why do I say this, To move from San Diego CA to North Carolina, I went through 5, yup, 5 trucks before they gave me one that would make it across country. MAJOR HEADACHES! Go with Ryder, little more expensive but definatly more reliable. Clyde96 02-13-2005, 11:22 AM Thanks for your response guys.Looks like I need to look into some of the other options.
