Replacing Headlamps in 98 Prizm

I have a 1998 Prizm that needs new headlamp bulbs. I have purchased a pair of bulbs but can't figure out how to get into the headlight casings to do the replacement. I got as far as removing 3 of the 4 clips on one of the casings before (temporarily) giving up as it didn't seem to help in getting them open.

Any help is appreciated!

on the backside of the headlamp assemblry , you need to 1st unplug the wires, then remove rubber grommet by pulling strait back, the unlatch the metal retainer. then slide our light bulb. ... do not remove the 2 top and 2 bottom clips on the front end of light. you do not have to remove either light assembly to change bulb, but you will have to remove the battery to change the left side.
