Find it hard to believe a turbo gives you 50% more power (I assume they mean hp). That would be an amazing increase, even for a turbo. Now some laughing gas might do the trick, but who wants to kill there engine that fast.

Yes IT is for sale. Now if you do the math. The engine has 130 hp stock. after adding the TD-05 turbo kit. we went from 130 ayt the wheels to 195 at the wheels. But that is because the fuel managment system sucks. So we added the performance chip in the computer and we put it on the dyno again and we had 211 hp. So If you did the math before the chip it was a 50% gain in hp. After the chip install we had a 56% gain in hp. I know I made and tested the kit.

Yoy are right you can put the LT1 motor in for 3K. But there is no way you can have it installed and rewired and legal for the road and the inspection in one weeked. The Lt1 is a major engine swap and a long time to put it in right. because I have 2 s-10 LT 1 93 vete and a 91 IROC. and They took 3 weeks strait with some problems and 8 to 10 hours a day with 4 guys just for one s-10 swap. I do this for people for a LIVING. Plus I'm trying to give the less machanical people that have the 2.2 a some what performance motor for a good price. Plus I have a stage 2 turbo kit for the 2.2. But the motor needs to be worked well. And it producess 295HP And that is more money. So If any one wants to keep telling me stupid crap. Keep coming because I know every angle on the 2.2 and v8 versions of the s-10 than allmost any one. been doing it for 17 years. SO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT THE 2.2 INSTEAD OF TELLING ME THAT THERE IS A BETTER WAY

THANK YOU:screwy:

wow 3 weeks? not to flame, or insault, but, me and my cousin did a 350 swap in his s 10 in one weekend, a total of 20 hours minus beer time, then he smashed it, we switched the 350 from his 2 wheel drive s 10 to his buddys 4x4 2.2l, yes it took longer, but not longer then a work week... one more thing, the switch to the s 10 took one weekend, cost him under 2k, if your going to do the work yourselfe its verry possible, if not, then chances are you dont want that kind of power out of a little truck, if you want the power, but dont have the know how, you pay a shop 500 bucks to do it for you... and once again, this is not a sales forum, it is a help topic forum
