I was given an 88' XJ Laredo 4x4. It runs well and as far as I can tell the tranny is in good shape too. I want to put a 3" lift on it, Rusty's has one for about $300. Do I need to purchase anything else besides what already comes in the kit? I was wondering if I needed a T-case drop kit, or a drop pitman arm, or sway bar disconnects? I am going for the complete kit front/ rear springs. I am on a budget, but I want to do this right. Thanks.

what comes with the kit? At 3" you will want new shocks all around, and from what I hear the cable are questionable above a 2" lift.

scuba,

It comes with the front/rear springs, rear brake line, shocks. What about the track bar, will it need relocation. I looked at Rubicon Express, theirs comes with disconnects, F/R springs, lower control arms, R brake line,U-bolts. What should I look for in the way of a COMPLETE KIT! It seems like some offer a more complete kit than others, but still leave you needing to buy more things.

you should be fine with that kit u just need your front brake lines and a allignment i dont think your track bar will be a problem.

Thanks guys for the input. I also saw a Super lift that came with new lower control arms and all the other stuff for about $350. So now I just have to choose. Thanks again.
