I plan on putting a Pioneer CD Player in my brothers 2000 Ram 1500. Will it fit all the way in so it sits flush with the dash? Also, will it be a lot of screwing around doing this and what do I all need to get this done?

I'm not sure if it will fit exactly, but you can always check www.crutchfield.com . The have a little fitment guide on there that you should be able to check the cd player by.

The reason I asked that question is because i went to best buy.com and looked at a pioneer and it said no fit

That site was probably talking about height and width, not depth. You'll need an adapter to make the CD player fill the hole left by the stock unit. Thats why I sent the crutchfield link, they specify why it won't fit usually and also sell the adapters.

The other thing too is that he had to get the stock radio fixed a few months ago because nothing happend when you turned it on and he replaced the fuse in the fuse panel but that didnt fix it. He said it was a fuse in the radio or something. Is this going to happen with the Pioneer?

most decks have a fuse in the back. But i wouldnt imagine you would have many problems with a brand new deck.

That all depends on what the cause is/was. If it was an internal fuse, then you shoudn't have any problem.. but if it's a wiring and/or electrical problem with the truck, it's more than likely not just gonna stop because you put in a new unit.
