no 1 or 2 speed fanBlk&BluGTP 02-12-2005, 11:17 AM 2000 GA SE the hvac blower does not work on speeds 1 and 2 but works on all others, obviously its not the blower its self. how could i find out what is causing the problem. the fan switch or something in between etc"? GTP Dad 02-12-2005, 01:05 PM Simple fix, replace the blower motor resistor located next to the fan. This is a common problem and costs anywhere from $30 to $40 for the part. If you do it yourself may take about 1 hour to remove and replace. Blk&BluGTP 02-16-2005, 01:45 PM thanks for the advice, i did a voltage check into the resistor and there is voltage at all speeds so the resistor is bad. can you buy just a resistor or is it the whole blower/motor an assembly Ridenour 02-16-2005, 03:06 PM You can buy just a resistor, like GTPdad said. Just go to a place like Autozone and they'll get one for ya. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
