Draw on battery

I have an S 10 (1999) that has a dead battery about every 2 days. The battery and the alternator tested OK. I checked the amp draw at the battery. It draws about .75 amps. When I pull the tbc fuse it drops to .1 something (radio clock). What is the tbc circuit? It seems to include the door alarm and interior lights. The lights and alarm seem to work ok. It has an aftermarket powerlocks installed. How do I track down the source of the draw?

Are your interior lights staying on? Also when you do the amp draw test, have the lights shut off before you pull the fuse?

Do you park on a hill? The hood light (if equiped) is a mercury switch that turns on the underhood light(s) when the hood is open (goes past a certain angle), if the incline is great enough, the light will come on as if the hood were open.

Thanks for the reply. The amp draw is with the doors closed, on flat surface, everything off, no interior lights on theres no glovebox liten no under the hood lite. There is a box behind the plastic just above the tranny hump that when I unplug the top plug The amps drop. So could it be a short in that box? What is that box?

Could be a short, or it's just staying on... I have a 93, I'm putting a new axleshaft in it this weekend (hope to anyway). I'll see If mine has that box when I get it out of storage, and see if I know what it is.
