As the engine is running hook up your volt meter across the two wires you should get 6Volts. If it varies the pickup is bad. A rebuilt distributor. Make sure to mark the spot where the rotor touchs the base so you can transfer the mark to the rebuilt dist. Use white out. To check the crankshaft position sensor unplug it and an ohm meter should go from zero to one when cranking. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
