I have an 04 1500 hemi ram and was wondering if anybody can tell me what kind of computer is in the truck? Is it a OBD2 or OBD3 computer?

I think it's OBDII.

actually to be correct it has a ngc computer which is next generation controller. it is an obd 2 system though that moniters it
