1993 Altima - dangling vacuum linemycrew143 02-08-2005, 10:56 AM I have go a '93 altima with a vacuum line that I can not find where one end goes. There is a vaccum line that is attached to the autotransmission that is about 1 1/2 feet long with a protective sleeve on it. The end that is attached is located on the drivers side just behind and underneathe and on the transmission where the round air intake make a connection onto the intake manifold. So if you put your head just over this round duct where it connect to the manifold and look down and just behind you will see the hose. it is about 1/4" dia. The other end is where I can not find where to attach. The loose end has a bend in it like a candy cane. Can anyone help me find this hoses home... PLEASE! Thanks IH8SPM 02-08-2005, 06:52 PM http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=355760 I SUGGEST USING THE SEARCH FEATURE IN THE FORUM B4 MAKING UP NEW ONES. MOST OF THE SUBJECTS HAVE BEEN DISCUSSED ONCE OR TWICE ALREADY. THANKS molhannah 02-14-2005, 06:11 PM Not to worry! Its the vent for the auto trans. It sould be secured in the tie strap that is at the rear of the air intake box that houses the air filter. It will stand straight up along side the wires that should also be there. Hope this gives you piece of mind. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
