not the easiest thing in the world. It will be a good couple weekend project. I got AAMCO to replace my clutch, slave and master cyl for 600 bucks on my 2.2. they had it done in 2 days so it probably would take quite a while. unless ofcourse you have some experience.

in order for the guy's to tell you what the problem is you should give the year, make, model, engine size, tranny, and what type of problem you are having.

Are you trying to shift from 2nd to 1st while moving? This would be hard on most manual trany's because of the change in trany rpm's. You are asking your cyncro to do a lot of work with this shift, causing resistance. It is rare I shift from 2nd to 1st without being at a stop or going really slow. Why do you think it is the clutch and how are the rest of your shifts? There is always the possibility you have a shot 1st gear cyncro. Here is a test for your clutch...With the truck turned on, parking break on, and truck in neutral push in the clutch peddle. After leaving it in for about 10 seconds very very slowly put it in and out of reverse. Do you hear or feel any grinding? If you don't your clutch is disengaging all the way so any problems shifting will probably be due to your trany.
