91 Probe Healights wont closecattinc 02-06-2005, 05:12 PM I've got a 1991 Probe GL with about 168K miles on it. I wasn't driving it for a while and the battery went dead. When I jumped the car to get a new battery for it, the headlamps popped up. I checked the switch and it is in the OFF position. I have cycled through the switch settings (i.e. parking, headlamps, park) and back to OFF and the lamps still are in the open positon. I took the fuse out and cranked them down. When I put the fuse back, they pop back up. Does anybody know how I can fix this or is there a wiring diagram in PDF I can download form somewhere? Thanks GClaus17 03-28-2005, 07:35 PM It is common in all probes for the lights to stay up that is the one thing with our probes you have to do all the time is spray the motors on them or else they sieze up really really easy so you will need new motors in them or else they will stay up, theres no fixing them if they have been up for awhile if not you can replace the little gear in side it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
