Quite a few street races in the WS62000LS1Z28 02-06-2005, 12:35 AM Well my hands are still shaking as I type this. I think I might have to take some time off from street racing for a long time. Anyways, on to the street races (Or rather freeway runs). I'm coming back from Speedzone with some buddies. You may recall my loss in the Evo to a modded 300ZX TT. Well that's the car I ran, but first things first. We knew that after Speedzone that we were going to run. What we didn't know is that a Z06 was going to be involved. Now keep in mind this Z06 was stock, whereas Javary's 300 ZX TT has every single bolt on (He's kicking out 356whp). We see the vette ahead, as does Javary, and of course, we wanted to entice a race. Javary lines up with him, and then mats it. The Z06 owner in turn follows suit. After running into thick traffic on the 605, we decided to go into the carpool lane, where the Z06 driver was. He mats the gas this time, and Javary follows. I mash the gas, and these fools are walking me  I guess the outcome was that the Z06 put a little bit of distance on Javary, but then his car started to gain around 110 mph. The Z06 let off. After they played there game, Javary decided to try me again. Mind you I don't think my car is kicking out anymore then 315whp, but what the heck. I mat the gas, and he foolishly lets me keep a few car lengths on him, before he mats it. He's not really gaining that much ground. I decided to slow down, when my passenger informs me that there is a cop ahead of us. I slam on the brakes, and turn into the next lane to my right. Javary is still matting the gas, until he sees the cop, and probably almost shits a brick (He's on a suspended license for trying to run from the cops :p ). Luckily the cop doesn't want to bother with us, as he helps out an individual with a broken down car on the side. Later on I got a chance to race my buddy Steve's Hurricane motorcycle. He kept revving his engine, and goosing his bike. I put the WS6 in 3rd and matted it. He tried to gain up, but I walked him. I didn't want to go anywhere beyond 125 mph, as I was concerned for his safety at that point. I don't think he thinks that bike is as fast as he thought it should be now. All in all a fun time, but too scary for me to attempt again. CivRacer95 02-06-2005, 12:52 AM I want a WS6 so bad! Those 300 Z's are amazing as well. It doesn't take them much to get their HP up there. My boss used to own one, he wrecked it bud I got some picures of it. 450 HP! It was nice. As for your friend racing witha suspended liscense, that's incredibly stupid. I was near to losing my liscense, and I knew the consequences had I. And if he were to get caught, then he wouldn't be driving for atleast a year. Well, sounds like he had fun racing the z06. Just tell him not to race on a suspended liscense. Yeah I believe he can lift that suspension if he pays off some outstanding tickets that he has, he just doesn't want to (I believe he owes quite a bit of money to pay off the tickets). His suspension for outrunning the cops a couple years ago has already passes in December, it's just the outstanding tickets that keep him from getting his license reinstated. One things for sure, his car is strong up top. Mr. Luos 02-06-2005, 11:10 AM I hung with a Z06 before my cam swap!!! Sounds like a good night man!
