I put a little tach in my 94 S-10 ZR2.(4.3 TBI)

I like the way it looks ... what do you guys think ??

I thought ZR2s had the stock tach?

This is a little bit of a debate ...... Mine has everything of a ZR2 .. the stance (I think), the markings ...same transfer case .. same heads as a ZR2 .. just doesn't have a tach wich leads me to belive that the previous owner may have done some work to it to make it a ZR2 ... or a ZR2 wanna-be LOL ...

I just call it a ZR2 to keep it simple

Come to think of it,that truck doesn't have the flares either and has the regular fenders and bedsides.It might not be a ZR2.

I guess the VIN doesn't match up to a ZR2 ... you think somebody just went to the triouble and put ZR2 heads and decals on it ??

They probably did ... after I get done with the body and suspension lift it won't be much of a ZR2 anyway ....

Can I get the flares to go on my truck ?

I like the way they look .. and since these rims I have stick out some .. it sure would save my paint .... (not that I care that much)

Go with a aftermarket company for the flares.In order to use factory flares you would have to get new fenders and a bed as they are differant.BTW dmbrisket shut that damn thing off that shows the ip address,it gets annoying. :mad:

i thought i shut that one down, ill go back into the settings, it came from danasoft.com, my other hobbie is computers and computer work... their a neat little site for personal sigs, and while im on the subject ill do you guys a favor, (sorry to change thread topic) if you have not done it yet, make the switch to Mozilla Firefox (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/) if you have have something like aol or cable, or dsl, t1, t3, the browser runs so much smoother then Ineternet Exploror, and it has less of a tendency to <insert profanity here> up on you, better pop up blocker, by better i mean smarter) and a nicer look! ok back to topic on hand

Thanks I'll check it out.

I use firefox and love it. Just watch out though, not all movies will play and some websites will not show there animation. As for the truck, watch out for those fender flares, they tend to trap mud and cause extra rust. While I like the way they look there is no way I would ever get them, rust sucks.

I like firefox too. I'ts also important to have some kind of security software if you have a broadband connection.
