Been wrenching cars since the 60's but can't figure this out. Steve shundt@neo.rr.com o2Denali 02-05-2005, 07:31 PM not yet been googling all but nothing. Gonna see if i can remove the headlight and go from there. Eggert 02-05-2005, 09:16 PM Hi, there are 2 black pins inserted from the top of the headlights. They are like allen wrenches. You will see the about 1 inch long top parts of the pins tucked in under a plastic bar. Swivel the top forward so you can pull the pins up and out. The headlight will fall out forward. Now you can swivel the driving light out forwards after pushing on a plastic tab on the outside end of it. Let me know, if this was not clear enough. It is illustrated in the owner's guide. Take care, Eggert :bananasmi o2Denali 02-06-2005, 03:01 PM Im gonna take some pic and see if it the one to remove. Thanks eggert bcopeland 02-07-2005, 10:05 AM Eggert, does that work the same on 2001 Yukon XL? Eggert 02-09-2005, 08:27 PM Yes, sure does, that is what I have. The old and the new body styles all have the headlight pins. The old body styles have 4 screws for the lower, blinker lights around the edges of the glass. Hope this helps, Eggert :bananasmi slacker_53 02-11-2005, 05:41 PM See if this helps....... http://www.geocities.com/tbuckit1/DRLrep.html The Factory bulbs are Sylvania 4157K Wagner 3157 works as a great replacement if you can't find them -slacker vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
