$$... is it going to cost alot?djane 02-05-2005, 10:35 AM Can someone please tell me if my rear shocks and bearing replace ment is going to cost an arma and a leg? I would like to know before I make the appointment. Thanx. BUCKYXJ 02-05-2005, 12:38 PM rear shocks probably not but what bearings are getting replaced? scuba4321 02-06-2005, 08:31 PM I think you are looking at about 3-4 hrs on the rear, axles have to be pulled, shocks maybe 20 bucks a side. What makes you think you need the bearings done? djane 02-08-2005, 09:51 AM Well I finally took Jane in for a 50 point inspection and estimate. The noise I thought was bad rear bearings turned out to be "bushings for shocks". The new bushings + new shocks(rear) + labor comes to $120.00 mol. That and my wiggly steering wheel were the only things he was concered with. This was an additional $80.00. Whew. Prediction: Over Time Any comments or opinions feel free to share, ;) Jane djane 02-08-2005, 10:49 AM I think you are looking at about 3-4 hrs on the rear, axles have to be pulled, shocks maybe 20 bucks a side. What makes you think you need the bearings done? I have some rumbling going in the right rear. I've since found out it's the shock bushing.
