Can anyone tell me where the thermostat is located, and how difficult it is to change?

FWIW
On the 1996 the instructions are really vague
It is located somewhere under the air intake duct and is connected to the lower rad hose and is inside the thermostat housing.
I think you need proper instructions from the 1997 repair manual.
Anybody?

To find the thermosat, follow your radiator hose away from the radiator to the thermostat housing. All you have to do is take a couple a bolts out to remove the housing and then you just pull out the thermostat and put the new one in. You want to make sure you put in the thermostat the same way you took it out. Also you want to put a new thermostat gasket in before you bolt the housing back on. Make sure whatever is left of the old gasket, you scrape off and make smooth.
This job is pretty easy it only takes about a half hour.
