Anybody got a wiring diagram or schematic for the trunk release on a 99 intrepid?

You can pick one up at any auto part store. That system basically consists of the 10 amp fuse in the fuse block, the switch by your left knee, the body control module and the trunk release solenoid. By the way, the fuse is #19 in the block. If your fuse is good, check the switch for power. If you have power at the switch and still no go, check the solenoid. To check the solenoid, get a 12 volt battery and jump the solenoid; if it works, the solenoid is fine; the problem lies with either the body control module, or the wiring.

I appreciate the info. I assume the solenoid is on the latch, whitch I replaced with a junk yard part (I didn't check it), where is the body control module located? thanks

The body control module is mounted in the center of the dashboard behind the radio and HVAC controls.
