ive got a prob with my 1994 lesabre. shes got 152000 miles on her and runs good when she does. but on cold days (some times ) i go to start the car and when i do she starts runs for about 5-7 seconds and dies. the weird thing is that the volts and temp lights stay lit when they should turn off right away when it starts. and some times when im driving down the road at like 60 mph the speedo will jump to like 100 mph and the car will buck and die and those damn volts and temp light will turn on. its almost as the car runs rich cause i can see raw gas come out the tail pipe and i can smell the smoke. PLEASE HELP. ITS BUGGIN THE F*&% OUTTA ME!!!!!!!!!

The problem could be any number of things, including but not limited to, the coolant temp sensor, O2 sensor, computer, or even the altenator. It may also be a wiring issue, especially if you have had work done that requires the dash to be removed.
What color is the exhaust? Have you had any major work done recently?

My best guess is that it's the computer, or something related to it. It seems that when it acts up, it causes many problems, not just temp, or volts, but fuel too, so I think it's something that controls all of those items - the computer.
