Rear wheel noiseArnzCardz 02-02-2005, 06:53 PM Hello. I have a 99 Jimmy. It has just started making a rubbing noise from what seems to be the rear wheel ( driver's side). It goes away when I turn right. Louder when I turn left. Is this the infamous wheel bearing problem or just a brake prob. It does seem to go away a little when I depress the brake. Could it be something in the guard for my rotors? Thanks in advance. rlith 02-02-2005, 07:36 PM It's probably your front wheel, and yes, probably the bearing. The noise is just traveling and disguising itself. ArnzCardz 02-04-2005, 08:52 AM I had the noise fixed. It was a brake hardware problem. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
