I have a bit of a mystery. My Cutlass' winshield wipers won't work on any speed, and only move a couple of inches on "high" as if trying to park. I have tried changing the motor, motor cover, and wiper switch on column.I need to go into more detail. The new motor performed the same as the old one. I only have power to the motor on "high" and then it only moves the wipers a couple of inches up and then back down. The linkage moves freely when moved by hand and all connections are ok. I have no power to the motor at the other speeds. The motor cover was also replaced with no change. Then I tried replacing the column switch. No change. The fuse is good in the fuse box in the glove box. I can not locate an additional fuse anywhere. According to every wiring diagram I have seen there isn't any kind of other control in the circuit. If it matters, it's a 3.3 V6 with tilt/telescoping wheel and variable speed wipers. PLEASE HELP!! I've tried everything I know.Where am I going wrong?? Am I overlooking something?? Thanks.
