Any thoughts? I have a 350 small block - 2B carb and thinking of going to a 4B. I know I need to change the manifold as well. I am a new owner and don't want to put something on that will hurt this purring motor as it runs now. Will this increase the HP substantially or will I even notice? How simple is this? Also on another topic, my reverse lights are not working. Not the fuse - not the bulbs. Do I need to pull off the rear bumper to investigate? Any help would be greatly appreceated.

well, 350 gm motors have a slew of aftermarket parts for them, goin to a 4 bbl wouldnt cause any problems as long as it is installed and adjusted properly, as for the reverse lights, it may be just a bad switch on the tranny or maybe some bad wiring.

fastest way to increase HP and TQ is to change the cam to a higher lift and/or more duration, shave the heads to increase compression and use less shallow pistons or flat-tops.
