In my 94 nissan altima I have a loose hose coming off my tranny to the right of my engine, behind my air intake back by my fuel filter. I believe this is a vacume line which may explane why my cars been shifting slow. I spent 20 minutes poking around under my hood looking for somwhere that this hose might connect, but havnt found anything. Can anyone let me know if this line is suppososed to be loose? and if not where does it go?

That line is a vent line for the tranny. I have the same line in my 2001 and it comes from the trannny up to the air intake and is supposed to be atached to a clip that keeps it in place.

Ahh thatnks allot, way to shed some light on this for me. Ill see if I can find where it connects.
