Please help this morn my headlights,turnsignals,horn,heater controls,wipers and lock button on my remote stopped working.the car is a 2001 vwgolf 1.8t

If it were a few years older I'd say ignition switch, but I haven't seen A4 switches go bad. Try rotating the key a bit forward & back to see if it makes a difference.
