I have a 95 Neno I was working on it the other day. I disconnected the battery, both negative and positive. After about 2 hours I hook the battery back up. I went to start it, then it just stalled on me. For it to stop stalling I had to start the car then give it gas for 3 mins. then It was fine, when I took my feet off the gas. Would anyone know what causes this problem everytime I disconnected the battery, why It would stall. Thanks for all your help on this!!!

When the battery is diconnected, the computer basically forgets ( to a point )how to run the car. This seems more prevelant in OBDI systems. It has to relearn the best air fuel mix etc. It is usually not enough to stall a car, but i have seen it happen. The best way for it to learn is to let it warm up to normal operating temp. I had a old 88 buick regal that did the exact same thing. It would start, then stall, then i would start it again and it would be ok. I let it warm up until normal op. Had to do the same thing every time the batt. was disconnected.

I have a 1998 neon R/T. Whenever I disconnect my battery it does the same thing. Like he said it has to "re-learn" the car. No need to worry.
