Can anybody tell me what the three ports on the wastegate are for?? And exactly what turbo it is, size, model number??

It's going on my civic - it's supposedly only like a 14b, but i'm trying to figure that out - it came off a mitsu starion, it's liquid cooled and it has 3 ports on the waste gate - those I'm not sure what they are. Just looking for info.

Well one of the ports is obviously for a pressure source to control the wastegate. I have absolutely no idea what the other two could be for. Strange turbo, for sure.

Anyway, do you have any pictures of the blades. Look for 14b pictures and compare. There might just be a weird wastegate setup for the starion, or it could be a different turbo. Personally, no idea.

y would that be sarcastic it looks like a big turbo to me... so i said it... ummm i was realy just wondering y he was posing in the eclipse forms?

I was posting in this forum cause there isn't a starion forum, and usually eclipse guys know quite a bit out the turbos on the mitsubishi's, so I cam to you guys for help. Also I found out it is off a 87 Starion and the model number is td05-12a. Just trying to figure out what's up with the wastegate. Thanks for your help though guys.

Dont laugh...but i thought the Starion was the same as the Chrysler Conquest...they do have a forum.

The convertive is no where near being done. I'm working on some fiberglass stuff on it right now, but I'm being lazy. Here is the link to the pictures so far. I've got the top cut off, just need to finish cutting down the pillars, welding them shut and fiberglass the interior, then finished the body work and suspension and engine.
