Codes didn't work first time. Radio "locked up". Says INOP. Called GM, they said turn key on for an hour. Told them with the day time running lights batt would go dead. They said, turn off driving lights and step on "E" brake. Lights would go out. Didn't know that, did you? It worked. Something new everyday. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v425/kustomkid54/pontiac_logo.gif BIG-L 01-24-2005, 03:00 PM They said, turn off driving lights and step on "E" brake. Lights would go out. I found that out when I use to work for Charter back in 98,when I got my new GMC truck for the field. Ive never used the e-brake on the GP and ive got the DRL's disabled,so I dont burn out the SilverStars so fast.I would have never found that out, if it hadnt been for my new work truck back then. ~Larry~ kustomkid54 01-24-2005, 03:19 PM DRL are going off tomorrow. Right after I get this radio working. First time I have used e-brake since the Vette I had back in 79. Don't think it will ever be used again.
