On my moms 93 Deville this afternoon we were on our way home and I noticed the break peddle was very soft I pulled into the first service station and checked the fluid, and as I thought it was half way down so I filled it up, I causiously drove the rest of the way home about 1 mile and the breaks still did not feel right when I pulled into her drive I sat in the car and pumped the breakes a couple of times then all at once they hit the floorboard the break light then came on. I opened the resevouir again and this time no fluid at all I was also able to see thanks to the snow a large amount of fluid loss and it was still leaking, the place it is leaking from is right behind the radiator about half way down a large part with 4 lines coming out of it all on one side, it appeared that one of those lines is where it is coming from. What is this part and does this appear to be a costly fix. Any suggestions would be appreciated she is going to have to take it someplace to be repaired since I am not a very handy mechanic and she is on a limited income. Thanks in advance. Kraig

I believe the part you are referring to is the ABS hydraulic actuator. Hopefully its only a loose fitting or seal.

It ended up being 2 of the brake lines coming out of the actuator total bill was $95.00 so that was not to bad I drove it home and it seems as good as on my 93. thanks Kraig
