Dash lights wont come on..94 altima PLEASE HELP!!!Crunk_Altimas 01-22-2005, 11:09 PM For about three months now my dash lights wont come on including (gauges,a/c buttons, and the lights to show what gear your in) cd lights up and works fine and both interior lights work. have checked all fuses everything is fine any ideas? Paul Gaczynski 01-23-2005, 09:02 PM I had the same problem with my 97, but in my case iot was a blown fuse, can't remember which though. Malish999 02-11-2005, 12:31 AM I just bought a 96 altima had the same problem. My climate control lights would not light up and the gear box as well. Since your fuses are fine then you need to change the bulbs, u have to take out the peices that dont work and locate these little brown plastic sockets under the buttons that look like a head of a phillips screw. Take them out they should have tiny little bulbs on the other side. Go to the dealer and show them the socket with the bulb they cost around $4 each. Now the gear box light bulb is a pain to change, it is very difficult to take apart and even harder to put back together. odog96 02-14-2005, 11:19 AM Malish, thx since I'm having very similar issue. But since there are mulitple bulbs, it seems strange that all of them are out. In my case these will go on and off sporadically. I'm thinking it loose conection? A blown fuse wouldn't allow my lights to come on at all. Any clues? Thx IH8SPM 02-14-2005, 11:40 AM Faulty ground in the circuit or a cut wire on the harness. molhannah 02-14-2005, 05:44 PM This might sound dumb, but iI have to ask, but did you rotate the switch on the dash panel that control the dash light brightness? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
