What you have is transverse and will only rock backward and forwards and not side to side giving the effect you are looking for. However you can get the sound from the V6, best way, have some custom straight thru exhst pipes made for your car try if you can a twin systam. but you may get tickets for noise pollution or some b/s. A side exit would make you hear it even more! You mean overhaed cam or pushrod as a pushrod is driven by the cam. It's OverHead Valave so is pushrod. Better for Torque. You'd probably have to drop the motor to do the cam! It still wouln't rock the car though! KustmAce 01-24-2005, 02:25 PM I think the beefiest sound you can get out of a 4 banger is straight pipes. The down side is that you either love the sound or hate it. I liked it, and I had it confused with a V8 on more than one occasion. Granted, the guys who thought that werent exactly the brightest bulb out there, but it was still fun to tell people I shoehorned a small block 350 in there and actually be believed.
