i have the same problem did you find a heater core or not?

You might want to try a half bottle of bars stop leak.

how can you tell if your heater core is leaking?i have to add water to my radiator (2 or 3 cups) every week.no white smoke from tail pipe so i do not suspect a blown head gasket.

the floor mat onthe passenger side will be wet.
