did anyone see the new tuner transformation on speed channel....if you didnt this is what they did...2003 STI...they wanted to make it sleeper, so visually this is where i have the problem..they took off the hood replaced it with an OEM RS hood, same with the trunk lid...no more hood scoop no more wing...the car was silver when they first put the new hood and trunk on it was primer black tell ya what it woulda looked sick if it were carbon fiber...but anyway performance wise they put an APR front mount and cold air, reflashed the ecu maxed the turbo and new fuel pump and injectors, handling they basically did nothing except for rear sway bar and they painted the stock wheels black...

Basically i was just wondering what everyone thought of what they did mainly with the appearance...

I've caught the show a few times, and that seems to be all they do to the cars. I saw one with a Sentra Spec V and they did a couple powertrain mods, but spent most of the time on the wheels and body. They didn't even touch the suspension.

The 'discussions' where they decide what to do a car are pretty lame. From the Sentra episode:
"...and we'll want to make sure everything is well-grounded."
"Yeah: How about a groundng kit?"
"Good idea"

u cought onto one of my point that is my issue with this show they dont know there head from there ass when it comes to certain cars...

uhhh cant really tell you that it varies based on location and wether its dish or cable....jsut check the guide its called speed
