Out the window - ContributionsSchludwiller 06-22-2001, 12:43 PM Here's a new photo section thread idea. Sometimes when I'm offroading I'll be in a particular spot and look out the passenger window and see something really cool or beautiful. Next time you're out, take a picture with your window framing the image (this one got cropped unfortunately) and post it here. I'll start off with this one: Flyin'S 06-22-2001, 08:41 PM http://www.xterradventures.com/xcursions/naches_081300/081300_naches_01.jpg Cayuse Pass, Washington... Flyin'S 06-22-2001, 08:45 PM Does the windshield count? http://www.xterradventures.com/xcursions/taneum_111800/111800_taneum_19.jpg (Schlud was taking the picture in the Xterra4x4.com logo as I was taking this of him) lemsip 06-22-2001, 10:23 PM It was a bit bumpy, if you draw back and squint it looks quite nice. http://members.home.net/ewbuck/image/bumpy.jpg ChuckH 06-22-2001, 11:58 PM Hmmm, I wonder where this was taken? :D rrdstarr 11-26-2001, 04:13 AM Just some freeloader looking for a handout! ChuckH 11-26-2001, 09:14 AM That picture kicks ass! :D Looks like you found Santas' Reindeer! :) Schludwiller 11-26-2001, 01:10 PM Originally posted by ChuckH That picture kicks ass! :D Looks like you found Santas' Reindeer! :) I hope not. He's probably got Rumpleminz and Hot Chocolate in there. :D Nice pic Rick. OffroadX 11-26-2001, 01:51 PM Well, he doesn't have a red nose yet, but if there's enough Rumpleminz in there, he will :D Brent ToeJam 11-26-2001, 10:03 PM That is by far one of the best pictures I've seen in a long time. rrdstarr 11-26-2001, 10:53 PM My Uncle works for Asotin Co. roads Department in Clarkston, WA and knows where all the deer (3 kinds), elk, wild turkeys, Big Horn Sheep, and Bald Eagles hangout! I'll get some more pics up later tonight! Schludwiller 11-26-2001, 11:56 PM Do they have a governement "feed" program around there? Seems kind of odd for them to come up to the truck like that. rrdstarr 11-27-2001, 01:08 AM It is inside Wallowa (OR) state park that is closed for the winter. My Uncle says the deer are always around looking for handouts. They have tons of grazing area but like the apples and peoples gardens! rrdstarr 11-27-2001, 03:36 AM No, I don't mean the PNWX Hosers from Canada! wilburburns 11-27-2001, 09:56 AM CheetaraX 11-27-2001, 12:52 PM Here is one from last weekend Snoopy 11-27-2001, 11:42 PM How about some Beluga Whales? http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1485609&a=11195109&p=56854067&Sequence=0&res=high Yes, I do have a snorkel kit :D rrdstarr 11-30-2001, 03:04 AM Elk!!!!!!!! I like how you got water in both mirrors too. mudphud 11-30-2001, 06:20 PM some ppl have too much time on their hands. :) scott.com 12-01-2001, 08:00 PM From the PNWX Harrison trip Schludwiller 12-02-2001, 12:00 PM Nice. It's all coming back now. Those steeeep mountain faces. See you in a week. Kerensky97 12-04-2001, 02:26 AM Disregard the distortion on the left of the photo. But notice the racks of the Xterras peaking over the hill, it gives a better perspective of how steep the ledge was compared to how it looks in the photo. http://wsphotofews.excite.com/026/Lr/Dw/h3/WA55908.jpg Dayspring 12-04-2001, 09:52 AM That beluga whales one is awesome! And yes, we do have too much time on our hands. I took a bunch of pics out my window too, but since I was going about 50MPH, they are a little blurred. Oh well... :( superjens 12-05-2001, 02:33 AM OffroadX 03-03-2002, 01:30 PM A picture of me going up the "exit" of a trail, taken by Aaron Hall last Thursday... http://home.us.net/~stimpy/xterra/Trails_Rd/02-28-2002/From_Aaron/15-Brent_ledge.jpg Brent Matt Peckham 03-05-2002, 03:18 PM MaBell, Western Mass. sick rock wall. it was steeper than this, but I got over the hump with the front tires, this is as far as I got. 33.5 degree incline. http://www.nexterra.org/photos/MaBell/rockwall.jpg None of the Jeeps got any farther than I did. I was winched up the rest of the way by our trail leader. Schludwiller 03-05-2002, 06:51 PM Nice one Matt! warmonger 03-27-2002, 04:56 AM Thanks to Chris (Aquamander), we have one to contribute from the Coal Creek pre-run. Chris and I both thought this was an awesome photo. http://www.warmongr.com/photos/projectX.jpg vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
