I am just trying to find out what kind of header i should put onto my 04 cavalier Z-TYPE right now the only mod i have is a magnaflow exhaust. I don't know who makes a good header or what is garbage. also i am from canada so canadian prices would be better if at possible. also i am concerned if the heat from the header would effect any components under my hood

Dosn't matter really what company makes them, but you want a stainless or ceramic coated header. Thats all you really need.

The heat wont cause anymore of a problem than the stock manifold, also it,s not that bad as it's on the back port face and not the fron like most imports which heat the engine bay mcuh more. Pacesetter will be a good buy as they are firly low prices and they do ceramic coated headers don't bother with stainless too much money and I don't know why CRJ thinks they will stop heat!!!

www.carmodifer.com have some by Hedman but no prices so you will have to call. They are in Ottawa. Or www.rsmracing.com have ceramic coated headers for $340 CDN. They are in Toronto.
