It is advisable to remove the negative battery cable and wait 2 minutes to reduce the possibility of airbag deployment because you are working in close proximity of the airbag sensors. You will need a T-15 or T-20 Torx head screwdriver and of course a replacement #9007 Headlight Bulb.

(NOTE: I recommend the Sylvania "Xtra Vision", or GE "HO" type bulbs instead of the standard halogen bulbs as they have a brighter light output for the same wattage than the standard ones, not to be confused with higher wattage bulbs, they may melt your housing or your wiring from the increased heat and current draw plus they are not DOT approved. If you want that very slight bluish tint then get the GE "Super Blue", or Sylvania "Cool Blue" or "Silverstar" bulbs with the latter being the best choice of those types)

There are 2 Torx headed screws just behind the headlight reflector (Not to be confused with the adjustment screws on the mounting bracket assembly located further back from the front of the vehicle) remove both screws, (Very long screws) be careful removing them as they are screwed into a metal sleeve that is imbeded in the plastic, hopefully they will not be siezed up, that plastic is thin and can be easily broken. once the screws are removed the headlight assembly should easily pull straight out from it's mounts, disconnect the wiring harness connector from the bulb to fully remove the assembly. There is a plastic lock ring, unscrew this ring about a 1/4 to 1/2 turn and pull and the ring should release from the housing, grasp the bulb by the plastic and pull it straight out of the housing. (There is an o-ring seal on the bulb and it might pull out with some resistance) DO NOT touch the glass of the new bulb, any fingerprints on the glass will cause premature bulb failure, if you accidently touch it wipe it off with a clean rag with some alcohol before installing, the bulbs are indexed with a slot on the housing, it will only go in one way, insert the new bulb into the housing as far as it will go and reinstall the locking ring and then reinstall the headlight assembly back onto the adjusting bracket and install and tighten the screws untill they just snug then back them off about a 16th of a turn. If you have some Anti Seize compound I would apply some to the screw threads to ensure an easy removal if you need to change the bulbs again in the future.
