heated seats not working

I have a 1999 300m and the heated seats stopped working, now that it's cold out I need them more that ever. I checked all fuses...OK, I changed the switch from the driver seat ( not working one) to the passenger seat and the switch worked on the other seat, so I know the switch is OK, Once I changed the switch back to the drives seat the little light comes on from time to time but the seat will not heat up. Does any body have the schematic for the seat wiring?? any help?? Thanks.

I read a TSB on this issue. My seat heater stops working every once in a while. The TSB states, "the wiring to the pad in the seat is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced." This requires disassembling the entire seat. To verify this issue, you're supposed to push on the seat while attempting to turn it on. My advise would be to sit on the seat and push on the rear left corner of the seat until you feel heat or until the LED turns on. If this works, you need to replace the pad in the seat. Doesn't sound like much fun! Goodluck!

I'll checked on the part and the seat bottom heater is about $50.00 and the seat back
is about $40.00. I'll see about trying to take the seat apart to replace the heater.
I noticed in the TSB it stated that you can check the resistance with a voltmeter
but I'm not sure what conectors leads to check for the proper resistance?
